Hundreds of millions of children on this world live in impoverished circumstances with hardly any chance on development. UNICEF has fought these circumstances and defend every day the rights of all children, everywhere on the world. The child right organization of the United Nations is searching for many supporters. Not for nothing is the motto: Unite for Children. UNICEF can’t realize a better world for children on their own. The need of support from individuals, companies, organizations and governments is very necessary. UNICEF tries to bring all the support together through innovative ways. The organization uses always more often a binding and fraternizing strength of sport and large sport events. The UNICEF open is in this an excellent example.

UNICEF and Sport

UNICEF is convinced that sport is an enormous strength for children and develop young people to help and healthily to grow up. In its aid program the organization not only uses sport and game as an aim, but also to open a discussion with the children about important topic as HIV and AIDS, sexually violence and respect and equality for children. Therefore children will be more defensible and are helped to make the right choices for their future.
